Where do I pick up the car at Karpathos Airport (AOK)?

Karpathos Airport (AOK) when you arrive and hand over the car right there. Airport pickup and drop-off are completely free — just send us your flight details when you book and we’ll be waiting for you.

Do you deliver cars to Pigadia, the port, and hotels around Karpathos?

Yes. We deliver across the whole island, including Pigadia (Karpathos Town), the port, Ammoopi, and most hotels and accommodations on Karpathos. Tell us where you’re staying when you book and we’ll bring the car to you.

What documents do I need to rent a car on Karpathos?

You’ll need three things: a valid driving licence, a passport or national ID card, and a credit card for the security deposit. EU licences and most international licences are accepted.

What’s included in the rental price?

Everything is all-inclusive — full insurance, unlimited kilometres, all taxes, free child seats, and a free additional driver. There are no hidden fees or surprise charges at the desk.

Do I need a 4x4 to drive on Karpathos?

Karpathos? For most visitors, a small economy or compact car is perfect for Karpathos. The main roads and village streets are paved and easy to drive. You’d only want a 4x4 if you plan to reach some of the remote, unpaved beaches in the north of the island. Tell us your plans and we’ll recommend the right car.

Are child seats available?

Yes, and they’re free. Just let us know your child’s age when you book so we can prepare the correct seat for you.

Is there a fee for an additional driver?

No. An additional driver is included free of charge with every rental, so you and your travel partner can share the driving.

What are your opening hours? Is help available 24/7?

Our office is open 09:00–22:00 every day. Our phone support line is available 24 hours a day, all year round — so if anything comes up during your rental, we’re always reachable.

Are you part of the international ACE Rent A Car company?

No. We are an independent, family-run business based in Pigadia, Karpathos, operating at acecarskarpathos.com. We are not affiliated with the global ACE Rent A Car franchise — we’re a local Karpathos company that knows the island.
